Meet Vera!

Vera is a sweet, social girl with a heart full of love and a growing appreciation for the comforts of indoor life. She absolutely adores people and is happiest when she's soaking up attention, enjoying a good meal, or spending time with her canine friends.

Currently living with four other dogs, Vera fits right in with the pack and loves having playmates around. She's also sharing her home with a cat and is learning that feline roommates are part of the family. While she's still a little unsure about the cat, her curiosity is winning out, and she enjoys cautiously checking in to see what the cat is up to. Vera is also wonderful with children and looks forward to visits from neighborhood kids when she's relaxing in the front yard.

Vera's favourite activities include going for walks, playing with other dogs, getting plenty of pets, and exploring the world around her. She has a medium energy level. She enjoys a good romp or adventure, but once she's had some exercise, she's more than happy to settle down and relax alongside her furry friends.

As she adjusts to life in a home, Vera is learning about toys and all the little joys that come with being a beloved family pet. She's house-trained, kennel-trained, knows how to sit, and is continuing to work on her leash skills. With her curious nature and eagerness to connect with people, she's making great progress every day.
