Meet Oscar — the Ultimate Little Snuggle Bug!

Oscar is a tiny sweetheart with a big heart full of love and a talent for professional-level cuddling. Loyal and gentle, he adores following his foster sister everywhere—whether that’s around the backyard, through the house, or straight onto the couch. His favourite toys are squeaky ones (especially his squeaky sock toy!), and when playtime is over, you’ll find him burrowed under a mountain of blankets or curled up happily in a warm lap.

Oscar is calm, affectionate, and a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe. He enjoys watching the world go by from the window, playing a little fetch, and somehow managing to steal most of the blankets despite his small size.

He’s been well socialized in foster care and does great with other dogs, having lived with a Shih Tzu mix and spent time with two other dogs. He’s met cats and was curious but gentle, showing no aggression. Around kids, Oscar can be a little timid at first, but he settles in quickly.

Oscar is house-trained and kennel-trained, and he knows his basic commands, including sit, stay/wait, come/recall, and quiet. He walks fairly well on leash, though he’d benefit from a bit more practice to build confidence.

Oscar’s perfect home would be one filled with love, patience, and plenty of cozy blankets. He would enjoy having another dog to follow and learn from, but he’d also be perfectly happy as an only pup—as long as he has a lap to call his own.
