Meet Maxine, or Max for short. Max is likely a Husky/Shepherd mix who loves cuddles from her people, bounding around the yard, or chewing on a tasty bone.

She is an outgoing, playfully smart pup, and she is doing her very best to make sure everyone knows it. Max is the kind of puppy who throws herself into the world with enthusiasm, greeting any human who will give her some love with licks and loyalty. She LOVES mealtime, eagerly and (working on patiently) waiting with a chattering mouth when it's time to enjoy her kibble.

Max likes to explore her surroundings. She loves to be included in the action with our busy family, but is adorably content to entertain herself by rolling around on the floor or chasing her tail. There is something especially charming about her love for her people - Max will give us toothy grins when we've been apart for a while. We love to be greeted by her exuberant tail wags and adorable grinning face.

Max is great around adults and kids, and while she can be a little cautious at first with new faces, she settles in nicely. Her limited interactions with cats show us that she is interested, gentle, and ready to make new friends. She gets along great with other dogs, and tends to do well having a canine buddy to wrestle with.

Max is medium energy - she is lightening fast when she gets the zoomies and will probably make a great running companion. For such a young puppy, Max is already off to a great start with training. She will go into her crate without complaint so that her foster family can run errands or be out of the house during the day, and can go all night without wake-ups. Max is house trained, and is also beginning leash introduction. Because she is so food motivated, future training should be a breeze (and a lot of fun)! Because of her eagerness and intelligence, Max is the kind of puppy who will absolutely shine with consistency and guidance.

She would love a home that is ready to keep building on all the good things she has started, especially one with outdoor space to explore and people who will enjoy her whimsical, adventurous nature. Maxine is a spirited pup with a deep well of affection to give to her forever family.
