Meet Maxine, or Max for short. Max is a likely Husky/Shepherd mix with a bright spirit, a brave little heart, and a sweet face.
She is outgoing, confident, playful, curious, and wonderfully smart. When playing with her (slightly) larger brother, Max carries herself like she is in charge, and she is doing her very best to make sure everyone knows it. Max is the kind of puppy who throws herself into the world with enthusiasm. She loves food, chasing, playing with toys, exploring outside, and proudly collecting sticks along the way. She wants to be part of the action and has a funny, expressive way of making her needs known. There is something especially charming about her confidence. She is spunky, full of personality, and clearly eager to learn about everything around her. She is doing well with adults and kids, and while she can be a little cautious at first with new faces, she settles in nicely. She has not yet been tested with cats or other dogs. Max is medium energy and seems
like she is growing into the kind of dog who will happily join you for outdoor adventures and then come home feeling proud of herself after a day well spent.

For such a young puppy, Max is already off to a great start. She has had crate exposure, sleeps solo when needed, and is making really nice progress with house training, with most of her bathroom trips happening outside now. She is also beginning leash introduction, sleeps almost through the night, and is extremely food motivated, which should make future training a lot of fun. She is smart, eager, and seems like the kind of puppy who will absolutely shine with consistency and guidance.

Like many puppies, she is still a bit mouthy and can be vocal when she wants something, but she is not generally loud. She would love a home that is ready to keep building on all the good things she has started, especially one with outdoor space to explore and people who will enjoy her bright, adventurous nature. Maxine is a spirited little girl with so much promise.

She is funny, brave, full of life, and ready to become someone's very loved best friend.
