Jovie has a sweet personality and is surprisingly gentle for her size and enthusiasm. She loves walking quiet grid roads with her foster family and inspecting every gopher hole. And everything else, for that matter.

Jovie is a very smart girl and already has some tricks up her sleeve! She sits and stays well and she won't start digging into her meals until she hears "the word." She will jump up somewhat at someone if she's excited but is easily calmed with a reprimand.

Jovie loves playing hide and seek with her treats. Her foster will hide treats around the house while she's outside and then comes the excitement of finding and disposing of them. Jovie is mostly quiet in the backyard except for when the neighbour dogs are let out; then there's a minute or so of greetings barks and then everyone goes about their business.

Overall, Jovie is fairly well behaved and would be fairly good with kids larger than toddlers as she can get a bit too enthusiastic. However, she's still untested. She's a great companion for dogs her size. She can get a bit too excited for smaller dogs. She would be a great farm/acreage companion because of her inquisitiveness and boundless energy for running.
