Meet Gin!

Gin is the perfect blend of cuddly and independent. He loves coming over for pets and affection, but he’s equally happy doing his own thing nearby. He enjoys being around his people and doesn’t like to feel left out, yet he’s comfortable relaxing in his kennel if he’s home alone. With his energetic spirit and easygoing nature, Gin makes a wonderful balance of fun and companionship.

A playful guy at heart, Gin loves his toys, watching the world go by from the window, going for walks, car rides, and of course soaking up attention from his humans. He’s fully house-trained and kennel-trained, and he already knows sit, down, stay/wait, and come/recall. He walks fairly well on leash and would benefit from continued practice to polish his loose-leash skills.

Gin has met several dogs and gets along well with most of them. He’s also done great with children ranging from 6 months to teenagers. He enjoys meeting new people!

Gin would thrive in a loving home—ideally with a backyard—where he can burn off some energy and then settle in for cuddles. He’s a fantastic match for a family looking for a dog who is affectionate but not overly clingy, playful yet well-mannered.
