FROM THE FOSTER HOME

Fletcher is a handsome Husky mix with the looks of a Husky but surprisingly few of the typical Husky antics! At approximately 1.5 years old and only 45 lbs, Fletcher is a calm, well-mannered boy who’s happiest hanging out with his people and canine friends.

While he may have the striking appearance (and occasional excited Husky noises), Fletcher is actually very chill and easygoing in the home. He’s quiet, affectionate, and loves to cuddle. He’s also incredibly smart and eager to learn - already knowing commands like “sit” and “in your bed” (crate). In a short time, he has learned household routines beautifully and is very responsive when his name is called.

Fletcher eats his meals in his crate and waits patiently for his food. He’s happy to relax in his crate afterward and even travels wonderfully in one - he knows to hop in and settle down for the ride. At home, he’ll often choose to hang out in his crate on his own. However, being crated while left alone is still something he’s working on. Fletcher becomes stressed when confined and left by himself, so his foster currently gives him free roam of the house when away. He does wonderfully loose in the home - he’s not destructive, doesn’t make messes, and happily relaxes with the resident dogs until his people return.

Fletcher gets along great with other dogs and is wonderful with children. He has yet to meet any cats. He enjoys running and playing with his dog friends but is just as content lounging in the yard soaking up the sunshine. His absolute favorite toys are anything ball-shaped!

With his sweet nature, excellent house manners, and laid-back personality, Fletcher is the kind of dog who settles into family life beautifully. He’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue learning, playing, cuddling, and being the wonderful companion he’s already proving to be.
