Meet Billy, a Shepherd/Husky mix with a gentle soul, a sweet nature, and the kind of soft, goofy charm that is hard not to fall for.

He has a calm and cautious way about him, but underneath that thoughtful little exterior is a puppy who really loves people and wants to be close to them. With our sunny morning cups of coffee, Billy is often found curled up at our feet, ready for pets and love at a moments notice.

Billy loves food, toys, being outside, playing, and carrying sticks around like he has found treasure. He is a bit clumsy in the most lovable puppy way, a little slower-paced, and such a softy. While he enjoys exploring and having fun, he also loves cuddles and being near his people.

He has a loyal tenderness to him that makes him feel especially easy to imagine as a beloved family dog. He is doing well with adults and kids, and although he can be cautious at first with new people, he warms up nicely (especially when he gets belly rubs). He has not yet been tested with cats or other dogs. Billy is medium energy and has a lovely balance of adventure buddy and snuggly companion, which makes him especially appealing for a family looking for both playfulness and affection. Billy is also making great progress with various aspects of training. He has had crate exposure, sleeps solo when needed, and is doing well with house training, with most of his bathroom trips happening outside now. He is starting leash introduction, sleeps almost through the night, and is very food motivated, which should help him continue learning and gaining confidence. He seems like the kind of puppy who will thrive with patience, encouragement, and a gentle routine.

Like most puppies, Billy is still a little mouthy at times and can be vocal when he needs something, but he is not generally loud. He does great with our busy family, even when little hands pick him up and plop him elsewhere.

Billy is such a sweet, gentle, goofy boy, and we love having him around. He will make the perfect addition to a loving home!
