Say hello to Barbara! Barbara is an extremely happy, fun, energetic girl who loves to play with her foster brother (dog) and bug her other foster brothers (cats).

She’s very excited to see the neighbours' new baby and has been very gentle. She hasn’t met any older children but will likely love them too. She is crate-trained for periods of up to 9 hours, while the humans are at work, and she sleeps in a dog bed on the floor.

She is doing great on a leash, not so great at recall but we’re working on it daily! She knows sit, shake a paw and is very smart. She is working on being completely potty-trained, and we’re nearly there. She likes to be accompanied and is very praise-driven. She is extremely energetic and fiercely loyal.

Barbara is an absolute joy to be around and will make a great addition to a family.

Barbara had a fractured leg which was surgically repaired at the end of April. She has made an excellent recovery and can slowly return to normal activity over the next few weeks. Future medical issues are not anticipated and she should be a normal dog once completely healed.
