FROM THE FOSTER HOME
At just over 4 months old, this adorable Lab mix is already proving what a wonderful little companion she can be. She is a very good-natured, gentle puppy with a sweet personality and a heart full of love.
She is potty-trained and doing very well! Her foster family is just helping her learn to give them a clear signal when she needs to go outside. She is also wonderfully kennel-trained. She sleeps peacefully in her kennel all night and is comfortable staying in her kennel when her foster mom needs to leave the house.
Despite being right in the middle of the teething stage, she is not a mouthy puppy. She has a lovely, gentle nature and would much rather spend her time playing with her toys, exploring outside, or having a good wrestling match with her foster fur sister!
She absolutely loves being outdoors and thinks the paddling pool is pretty fantastic. She has been raised around both dogs and cats and is very comfortable with them. She especially thinks the cats would make excellent playmates—although she will need to learn that not every cat is interested in playing!
Her biggest challenge is that she is a very timid girl, particularly around men. She can be unsure in new situations and will need a patient family who understands that confidence takes time to build. With gentle encouragement, consistency, and plenty of positive experiences, we believe she will continue to blossom into the confident dog she is meant to be.
She would do wonderfully in a home that will give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell. Another friendly, confident dog could be a wonderful role model for her, as she clearly enjoys the company of other dogs.
If you're looking for a sweet, gentle, playful puppy and are willing to give her the time she needs to build her confidence, this little girl could be the perfect addition to your family.
She may be a little shy at first, but underneath that timid exterior is a wonderful puppy waiting to discover the world—and her forever family.
