Smokie arrived at her foster home with quite the entourage—eight siblings and two devoted moms (Birdie & Squirrel)! They were all found together as one big, loving family, and while we’re not sure which pups belong to which mom, it’s clear that love knows no bounds in this group.

Both moms are small, but we think these pups will grow to be medium-sized adults—just the right size for cuddles on the couch and adventures outdoors!

Smokie is a sweet, sensitive girl who’s still learning to be brave in this big world. She may be a little shy at first, but with a gentle touch and some patience, her loving personality quickly shines through. She absolutely melts in your arms and adores being held and cuddled — it’s one of her favourite things.

While she’s not as outgoing as her littermates, Smokie loves to play, especially with her siblings. She’s got a feisty streak during playtime and can often be found leading the charge in a game of wrestle and chase. She also really wants to be friends with the big dogs in the house — she watches them with curiosity and excitement — but she’s still learning how to approach them with confidence.

Smokie is very smart and making great progress with house training. She sleeps and eats in her crate and is adjusting well to a routine. With continued exposure and encouragement, she’s sure to blossom into a confident, well-rounded companion.
