River is a the poster child for all gas no brakes! She had a rough start to her time in her foster home, as she was diagnosed with Parvo, but a short hospital stay fixed her up and she came back better than ever! At any time of day, you can find her playing with one of her stuffed toys or wrestling with the resident dogs. She stops for the occasional nap, but she would prefer to play 24/7. When she is ready for a quick nap, she likes to cuddle up with her humans and the other dogs. She is house and kennel trained and sleeps through the night without a peep. She's not much of an early morning gal, she prefers to sleep in like her humans do! River knows basic commands like sit, lay down, quiet, stay, wait, and go ahead. She has some experience on a leash and knows she needs to walk beside her person and not pull on the leash. River has met other dogs, cats, and children; she wants to play with everyone she meets. She will make an active family very happy.
