Copper

From the foster home:

"Some of you may remember Copper when he came in with his brother, Cole. Both boys were diagnosed with parvo and sadly Cole was not strong enough to fight it, leaving Copper all alone. Despite his rough start to life he is now a happy, healthy and incredibly cute puppy who one day will grow into those ears! Today he is a curious and energetic little guy who loves playing with his 85 pound foster brother! His potty training has been a work in progress but he is really good at using the pee pads in the house. He is well behaved for a puppy but will need someone who is willing to work with him on his basic training, leash training and exposure to other dogs to learn the tricks of the trade. We have no doubt that he will catch onto the training with ease. We know he will make some family out there complete when he finds his forever home."

Poppy

From Poppy's foster home:

"Poppy is a total sweetheart and loves everyone she meets. She's great with young children and other pets, and knows how to be gentle and play appropriately despite her large size. She is also adorably clumsy. She will need an owner willing to put in the time to teach her manners and commands. That being said, she tries very hard to do what she thinks is asked of her, is eager to please, and learns quickly. Poppy is house trained and kennel trained."

From Crash's foster home:

"He's a very excited boy when he meets people and hasn’t quite figured out he is no longer a puppy. He loves to play with dogs, go for bike rides and chew on sticks. He's crate trained as well as house trained, also knows his name as well as how to sit and shake a paw. He is a very sweet loyal boy who plays like a puppy and always has a goofy smile on his face while his tongue hangs out to the side."

Hank

From Hank's foster home:

"Hank is such a sweet little boy. He’s very confident and he loves meeting new dogs, people, and even cats, though he’s happiest when he’s hanging out with the people in his inner circle. He enjoys curling up with his person for some down time as much as he loves racing through a pile of leaves. He’s very smart and eager to please and his house training and crate training are coming along well. Hank would do well with a family with a lot of love to give and who plan on continuing to socialize and train him so he can work on his manners."

Hazel

From Hazels foster home:

"Hazel is a gentle giant who wants nothing more than to be with her humans. She is house and kennel trained - she stays in her kennel during the day, then sleeps on her bed through the night. She loves to play with all other dogs, from Great Danes to Chihuahuas, but is always up for a nap during down time. She is typically gentle, but is still an excitable puppy and will need to be trained accordingly given her size. After spending the first year of her life on a farm, she is hard at work on her leash training. She is an extremely smart girl and loves the dog park. She will fetch a stick from the water for hours, then happily curl up for a nap with her humans (warning: she snores!). She acknowledges your every word with a signature hound dog head tilt, and will even sing for her supper (literally!). Given her size and exercise needs, a forever home with a fenced yard is recommended. Hazel will make the ideal best friend to a forever family looking for an adventure companion."

Athena

From Athena's foster home:

"Athena is shy when first when first introduced to new people, pets and places but quickly comes out of her shell to show her precocious puppy personality. She enjoys retreating to her crate, but tends to get worried (and quite vocal it) if her people are not around when she is in there. Athena does well playing with dogs her own size, but needs to work on her manners when it comes to her food. She has come a long way used a pee pad, but still needs work when it comes to being on a leash so she can start doing her business outside. Athena really loves her chew toys, especially the ones that squeak, and is most playful in the mornings."

"Monica is sweet and shy at first, she is a little scared of new situations but warms up fast. She has a feisty side and loves to play with toys and chase feet. She loves to be held and cuddled. She is almost kennel and house trained. She's been around cats, dogs and children but still needs direction with chewing."

Rogue

From Rogue's foster home:

"Rogue may be a miniature breed but she is full of personality! She loves to follow you around the house and snuggle up on your lap, but she can also be stubborn and she knows what she wants! Rogue is great about going into her kennel when you leave and also at night, she misses you when you're gone and has a hard time being left alone in the house. She is doing well despite her medical issues and just wants to be loved and give love right back. She is OK with other dogs and, while a little leery of new people, will warm up in no time!"

Rogue is on medication for her history with seizures, and arthritis. Combined, these medications will cost roughly $40.00 a month. Rogue has also had damage to her eye, and it will need to be re checked yearly, but currently is not bothering her and does not seem to require any further care.
