How Do I Apply To Adopt?
We start off by having you fill out an adoption application to get to know you a little more. From there, we set up a time to do a meet and greet and home visit. We look for adopters that will match not only the mental needs of each dog but also the physical requirements. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received.
Do You Offer Trial Periods?
WE DO NOT DO TRIAL PERIODS. We do our best to ensure that our dogs have as easy of a transition as possible. We understand that adoption is a big commitment which is why we are here to answer any questions you may have.
How do I obtain my adopted dogs Veterinary records?
Once you adopt your new furry family member, you can contact our medical coordinator firstname.lastname@example.org and make arrangements to receive vet records.
Please keep in mind that we are a rescue and these fees do not usually cover our expenses. We do not supply collars, leashes, food, bedding, kennels, dishes, etc. as we keep them to use for future rescues. We encourage people to do their research on what they will need prior to adopting a pet.
By submitting this application, you agree that all information provided above is truthful. If found that any of your answers are false, it will result in your application being denied. Saskatoon Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse any application. Please remember to bring your own collar and leash when you pick up your new addition!
Thank you for considering adopting a dog through Saskatoon Dog Rescue!
